Your wedding day is a day full of intense emotion and is one of the most memorable of your life. Let me help you capture those moments. I am there to ensure that this wonderful day of yours becomes a collection of beautiful images telling your story in an artistic and elegant way. I always try to push my photographic boundaries, giving you photographs of the highest possible standard.
Have a look at some of my work here. As you will see I love to capture those spontaneous moments, but I also like to add some more posed, formal shots that help to create the unique story of your wedding.
This amazing dress is Siam Ribbons by
Isabelle Randall
This image is an example of the creativity I offer. Posing the bride by using the surroundings we have creates this beautiful portrait. I love photographing these shots and they add something very special to the day.
This image on the other hand shows a more natural and less directed approach. The couple were quietly chatting to each other and feeling relaxed. You can see in this photograph that my style reflects the couple’s mood. There is nothing contrived here, I didn't pose the shot - it was just a lovely moment caught as they talked to each other. In some senses this reflects my outlook on wedding photography – to make sure the atmosphere is relaxed and romantic - and let nothing pass me by.
How sad if I had missed this moment. I love this photograph and it really illustrates what I am trying to capture; authentic sentiments and on off moments.
I believe that whilst ‘catching the moment’ is vital in my wedding photography it is also very important not to forget the more formal posed shots. I think they can be some of the best of the day. The art of posing is often overlooked today which is a great shame. This is also the time when the photographer has the chance to show off to everyone the wonderful colours of the dresses and flowers, the intricacy of the hair do’s, the artistry of the makeup, even the amazing and unusual shoes that have been so carefully and painstakingly chosen. I pose the groups in a way that complements all these things.
I recommend a pre-wedding shoot. I feel it’s such a good chance to get to know one another and to learn to relax in front of the camera. It’s something I do for free for my clients simply because I know it works for us both.
I want to help you remember every detail of your very special day. Thank you for reading this and please feel free to contact me at any time.
