Claire and Bertha

I have some more wonderful weddings to put up, but before I do that I want to share with you some of the photographs of a great afternoon I spent with the lovely Claire and her sister’s beautiful horse Bertha. This was a rehearsal for a dress trash (or ‘Rock the Frock’!) that we wanted to try out.

Stunning!

What a wonderful horse Bertha was. Whatever we asked her to do, she did. We had to clamber around and over fences and fallen trees, not to mention listen to all the creaks and groans from the spooky old ruined house behind us. Claire kept her head too, and managed to look gorgeous as well as ride the horse!

Eventually we found our way down a path and over a stream out of the woods and into a huge open park where Bertha had a gallop. The speed they went ripped the veil from Claire’s head several times!

We all had such fun that day. Claire’s mother came along and helped with her hair and makeup, and my very kind husband was at hand to carry the bags and equipment – thanks guys! And thank you Louise for letting us use your beautiful horse…….
