Hollie and Jamie at Tor-na-Coille in Banchory

Hollie and Jamie’s wedding in May at Tor-na-Coille Hotel in Banchory was such a great day. This privately owned hotel is delightful and has recently been acquired by the owners of Drumtochty Castle and been renovated to the highest standard – a perfect place for a perfect day.

Hollie looked gorgeous in her beautiful dress by Alexia Designs, and her two little girls Inara Lily and Edai Rose completed the pretty picture! Her flowers were stunning and were created by a company in Aboyne with the wonderful name of The Secret Garden.

Hollie’s Mum, Alison, was marvellous all day, always there when she was needed to help with her gorgeous little grand daughters. Have a look…..

Her two bridesmaids were Helen and Claire – and there were two best men as well, Lee and David, whose nickname is FLO but please dont ask me why! Hollie was keen to have some fun and try some modelling shots with her bridesmaids once they were all dressed and ready – we had such fun!

I was interested to hear how Jamie had proposed to Hollie. This is what she said: “Jamie proposed to me by blindfolding me and taking me to my favourite park, Ferryhill Park in Aberdeen. I sat on the swing and he went down on one knee with a makeshift ring in one hand and a red rose in the other. The ring was made from wire and a midget gem!” She went on to tell me that her Dad is a jeweller so Jamie knew that he would be making the engagement ring for them but he wanted to have something to propose with hence the midget gem ring!

Hollie and Jamie looked in seventh heaven throughout the day – what a wonderful atmosphere there was all around them, with their family and close friends there to help them celebrate this truly memorable day.
